The Saltwater has a beautiful rhythmic flow and music is the modulation of such flow.  Come and join us  as we  experience the flow that music creates and be moved as the artists share their souls on the foreshore.   There will be a variety of styles and genres to suit all tastes and ages during Saturday and Sunday.  The feature act will get the party going on Saturday evening as athletes and music lovers mingle alike.  There will be no admission fee for the event at Salt, so bring the whole family and grab some friends too (or if none of your mates can make it, make some new ones at the event!)

If you are an aspiring or established artist and would like the opportunity to share your music and think it may bring people together, please contact Davina on 04222 66 747 or email davina@thesaltwaterfestival.com

Combining the magical sound of the didgereedoo, flute, accoustic strummin' blues guitar, shakers and clap sticks, chimes, wild percussion, drums, sweet harmonies, xylophone, and positive, up-lifting lyrics ...there is nothing quite like this show..100% original Australian music with a tribal....roots...world...bluesy flavour.
Taylor

'Taylor’ are a collective of some of the tastiest grapes from Australia's Gold Coast. Acoustic tales on a bed of guitars and mandolin.

Formed in 2008 by songwriter David Taylor and guitarist Nick Stewart (George, Elixir), Taylor have already found themselves on festival stages and radio.

2010 finds the band as a six piece with an original sound that is sophisticated in its harmony and theatrical in performance.

Clay Blyth

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, Clay Blyth grew up in the small coastal town of Crescent Head. From a very young age Clay Blyth has been successfully writing and performing his original music up and down the entire stretch of the East Coast of Australia for the past eight years.

Clay has just performed recently at the "Rip Curl MP Clasic" on the Gold Coast and the Burleigh Breaka International WQS surf competion. Also Clay's side project Hannaford Clay supported the Black Sorrows.

Chris Mallory

Chris Mallory's songs are a soulful cross between artistic expression and life experience. He has been influenced by artists such as John Lennon, Bon Iver and John Butler. Through studying at the Conservatorium of Music, he has explored the relationship of creativity with the art of songwriting and production techniques.

There is an intense vibe to a Chris Mallory performance that reaches beyond the stage and settles into your heart.  His music will stay with you long after the final chord has been played.

Sewn from the seeds of overseas travel and deep introspection, his up and coming EP will be sure to create lasting memories.

Be prepared for a journey you will never forget.
