Thank you to all the competitors that came to The Saltwater Festival and challenged yourselves to go the distance and achieve a great feat.
You all did an awesome job, and we are so inspired by all the grit and determination you put into the races.
Please click on the tabs to the left of this page to see the break down of all the races. 'All results' show results for each category, 'Time & Place' show the times from fastest to slowest and the place that each person placed in their distance. 'Line Honours' shows the winners of each distance in order of who crossed the line first.
Special mention to Greg Long and Allison Fullagar to be the first man and women to cross the line for the Good Vibes Line Honours.
The fastest paddler was Dean Gardiner and Allison Fullagar, and Allison did an amazing job to win both line honours and fastest paddler on her 14footer as her 17 footer was out of action from the day before. Noting that that is 30km in a huge tailwind with no rudder! Congratulations to all competitors.
We will be posting the video by the end of the week, which is going to look amazing, thanks to Rambo.
We will be announcing the next Saltwater Festival dates very shortly, so stay posted.
Also, if you have any stories of your experience at the SWF and photos we would love to hear, and will post some on the web for others to see.
If you get time, we would love to hear your feedback or encouragement on how we can improve the event. Thankyou to those who have already given us great feedback. We hope to continually improve it for all involved. We are very excited to have done our first event and looking forward to making the next one the best we possibly can.
